
At 15h00 (3 p.m.) this afternoon, hundreds of Parisians gathered beneath the Eiffel Tower in memory of Michael Jackson. There were moonwalk contests, people decked out in Michael Jackson apparel, there was constant cheering, and absolutely no hostility at this event. I met two guys who were selling red RIP t-shirts, and I enjoyed looking at the intricate memorial posters and Michael Jackson emulations.

I loved his music. Im a big fan of “Smooth Criminal”. The video is also my favorite.
